This week, RWM is featuring Allie of Live Laugh Eat. Allie is living life to the fullest – and the healthiest with what better combination than fitness and baking!  She also takes beautiful photos so you’ll have to stop by and check them out! Her blog is cute, creative and has tons of great resources for healthy living!  But for now, I’ll let Allie take it away…

1. Tell us a bit about your blog?

Live Laugh Eat is a blog about my adventurous life as a [not so] recent college graduate. I write daily about food, fitness, baking, traveling, photography, and whatever else strikes my mood.

I’ve been blogging for nearly 2 years! Crazy. When I started my blog, I had no idea I would love it as much as I do now. I still can’t believe how much it has grown!

The name of my blog is a twist on the saying Live, Laugh Love. I replaced the “love” with “eat” because well, I like to do just that!

2. If you were stranded on a dessert island and could only have 5 foods, what would they be?

1.      Sunflower Seed Butter – I’ll need a spoon for this one!

2.      Bananas

3.      Carrot Cake

4.      Chocolate

5.      Homemade Bread

Can you tell I have a sweet tooth? Two of my latest recipes are Double Sunflower Seed Scones and Carrot Cake Squares. Both are healthy, but don’t taste like it! The best kind of baked goods if you ask me.

3.  What are some of your favorite workout moves?

I like body weight workout moves that require no equipment and get my heart rate up. Moves such as burpees, jumping jacks, pushups, lunges, and squats. I recently made up a 15 min. Countdown Workout that can be done anywhere. The number of reps decreases with each exercise, so it passes by quickly.

4. If you could be one food, which food would you be?

I would BE a chocolate bar. Sweet, rich and loved by all :) .

5. What tips do you have for people who are intimated to start getting healthy?

Don’t make your goals too extreme because it can be discouraging. Instead, start with small, achievable goals. If you set your sights too high, you may fall victim to the all-or-nothing mentality. For example, say you set a goal to hit up the gym 60 minutes a day. You might do well the first week but you’ll eventually burn out and/or get bored. If you take a day or two off, you might think you’ve blown it. Instead, aim for moving more throughout the day, going for daily walks and going to the gym 3-5 days a week for 30-45 minutes. If you end up wanting to workout more, be all means!

The same goes for eating healthy. Instead of making it a goal to eat zero processed foods, aim to eat 5-9 servings of fruits and vegetables. By increasing your produce intake, you’ll likely cut back on processed foods simply because you are more full.

6. If Hoarders wanted to feature you on their show, what would it reveal about you? [Allie wrote this question herself and I have to admit it's pretty awesome!]

It’s no secret that I hoard napkins, dishtowels, placemats and dishes for the sake of my food photos. If I’m ever in the presence of said objects (especially if they’re on clearance), I must have it! And in true hoarding fashion, I use only a few of my dishes and napkins for most of my photography. A&E here I come!

7. If our reader’s could only read one of your blog posts, which one should they read and why?

My first entry for Foodbuzz’s Project Food Blog competition is a must-read! It demonstrates my love for food blogging, complete with toddler photos. [I was just reading Allie's post and her toddler pictures are adorable! I love the look on your face in that last toddler picture!]
