It’s nearly impossible to predict what celebrities will wear to the Golden Globes even though everyone still tries to. Forget the celebrities. Here’s what gowns I dream of wearing on the red carpet.

Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2013: I’ve never seen a gown quite this color (I’m calling it cantaloupe). The color is so refreshing and the swirling train in the back would look beautiful in photos.

Michael Kors Spring 2013: I love black dresses, but the cut-outs on this dress make the trend look brand new. I would style it just like they did on the runway-with two giant cuffs.

Valentino Spring 2013: I’m drawn to simplicity, so this gown really appeals to my tastes. It looks super comfortable too, which is important to take into consideration when you’re going to be wearing it for hours.

Burberry Prorsum Spring 2013: It’s not unheard of to wear a short dress to the Globes. Remember Reese Witherspoon in that short, yellow Nina Ricci number in 2007? With the peplum and sequins, this dress looks fun to wear.

Akris Sping 2013: I usually hate it when women wear pantsuits on the red carpet, but I would make an exception for this sexy creation by Akris.
