We talk about Spring fashion trends quite a bit on the blog and Fit & Fab Living, but this weekend I had the chance to actually scout the goods in some of my favorite stores. Read on to see what I learned and what will make you the fashion queen for SS’13!

I saw lots of expected spring trends on my shopping trip this weekend, but noticed shortages of some, too.

A-Line Dresses
Forget bandage dresses and shift dresses – this spring is all about the A-Line fit-to-flare dress. Tight in the bodice with a defined waistline that flares into a skirt with volume, these dresses make a statement whether you pick a casual day variety or an enchanting one for a fancier occasion. We like the one above from Milly, and the Celina Dress from kate spade New York.

Emerald
Maybe because it’s the week of St. Patrick’s Day and the fact that emerald was Pantone’s 2013 color of the year, there was lots of emerald to be had this year. Milly embraced the trend with their Josephine dress.

Lace
Lace dresses were everywhere this season, and finding the perfect one for your body in an A-line is essential to success for this one. I decided to go with this cobalt High/Low Lace Cutout Dress from the Junior’s section at Nordstrom.

Neon
I was happy to see lots of pale neon yellow on my shopping journey, but didn’t see neon shades of many other colors. A pale yellow is chic and actually matches most anything, so I decided to nab this value shirt.

What trends for SS’13 have been sticking out to you? Any purchases you’re excited to make?
