This upcoming fall season we may bare a little more skin than we’re used to. Continuing with summer’s crop-top craze, fall foot fashion calls for booties with tasteful cutouts. But what toenail polish to pair with your fashion-forward peep-toe boots? For a professional look, it’s always better to go with something in the nude family for toes. Check out this list of the best muted toenail polishes form Essie and Sinfulcolors!

Well, if being a competitive figure skater for over 15 years has taught me anything, it’s how to choose makeup. I’ll admit I’m one of those girls who tries out every new makeup product on the market (with many facial-faux pas stories to boot). The result of my obsession? My gigantic orange makeup bag chock full of things I  never wear (apparently full-on dark smoky eyes are not exactly the style for Catholic high school who knew?). I am happy to say, however, that I have come up with a system to handle my stuffed-to-the-brim orange bag.

Of the many things I love about summer a shiny, oil streaked face is certainly not one of them. My battle with shine has led me to three products that I can actually trust to control the reflecting mirror that is my forehead in the summer. Believe me I’ve tried it all, but with combination, sensitive skin it’s rather hard to find products I can trust. That is, of course, until I tried these.

The idea of putting honey on my face as a mask was actually terrifying to me. I didn’t see how slapping on a sticky condiment could make my skin clearer or more moisturized. It turns out, this substance made for one of the most moisturizing face masks I’ve ever used.

I was flipping through Allure magazine the other day searching for a new favorite nail color. That’s when I discovered Essie’s classic “Mademoiselle” pink polish and fell in love. This perfect pink potion won a double stamp of approval from Allure’s Best of Beauty 2012 and Readers’ Choice 2013 awards. Naturally, I had to give it a try.

The hair gods have answered my prayers. I’ve found a live-in conditioner that actually works. Unlike other products I’ve used, I can see a difference in my hair when I don’t use this product. It’s the TRESemmé Leave-in Conditioning Spray from their Split Remedy line and it’s amazing.

My eyelids are the worst at keeping products in place. I’ll put on eyeliner or eyeshadow and within an hour, I’m already smudging like crazy. My eyelids are very oily, which sounds weird, but I’m sure some of you out there can relate. If you have this problem, then you know it’s a pain in the butt to find eye products that last all day — especially during the sweaty summer months. Lucky for you, I’ve become an expert at eye products that will wear all day. If you don’t have a smudging problem, then maybe this will help you get an idea of new products to try out this summer!

Ever get frustrated when the summer humidity turns your hair into a fluffy mess and you just can’t seem to find a good clip to hold it all in place? I may have found a solution.

This blog post includes two of my favorite things: summer steals and shoes. There’s no greater feeling than saving money and scavenging new fashion finds to adorn your feet. Say goodbye to rain boots, and give a warm welcome to summer flats, sandals and wedges.
